Meet the Second Winner of the "Last Genealogist Standing" Gameshow!

The Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy (SLIG) held the "Last Genealogist Standing" event again moderated by Craig Scott, CG, FUGA. As questions are asked, those that get the right answer continue to stand until only one knowledgeable genealogist remains standing.

This year, one of those winners was Sydney Cruice


Sydney won tuition to the 2016 Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy. Next year's institute includes a stellar line-up of thirteen courses.

Two More Fellows of the Utah Genealogical Association

Congratulations to Rick and Pam Sayre!


At the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy's banquet on January 16th, Rick and Pam were named the latest Utah Genealogical Association (UGA) Fellow Award winners.

"The UGA Fellow Award is given in recognition of those living individuals whose distinguished contributions and on-going commitment to the field of genealogy are of national or international scope. This may be evidenced by any combination of publications, teaching and speaking, or leadership of major genealogical organizations over a significant period of time."

Rick and Pam have been leaders in the genealogical field for many years and are well-deserving of the award! Congratulations!
