This year the Federation of Genealogical Societies (FGS) are celebrating their 40th. Anniversary. We here at the Utah Genealogical Association (UGA) and the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy (SLIG) want to congratulate FGS on their success. This week their annual conference is being held in Springfield, Illinois and many 2017 SLIG course coordinators and instructors will be speaking on a variety of genealogical topics.  If you are going, please try to attend some of their presentations.
