The Illinois State Genealogical Society (ISGS) Will Recognize D. Joshua Taylor



The Illinois State Genealogical Society (ISGS) will honor eight individuals for their "outstanding achievements in the field of genealogy." They will be presented at the upcoming Federation of Genealogical Societies (FGS) Annual Conference in a ceremony to be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016.

One of the awardees, is the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy's course coordinator and instructor, D. Joshua Taylor. Josh will receive the "ISGS Distinguished Service Award for his work in the genealogical community, including hosting the Genealogy Road Show on PBS, appearances on the television show Who Do You Think You Are?, as president of the Federation of Genealogical Societies, and as a lecturer and writer.
